Planning your dream hike on the Tour du Mont Blanc, Haute Route or AV1 can be a daunting task! Choosing the right route, finding suitable accommodation and figuring out the luggage transfer can be tricky. Especially if you don’t speak the local language or you are travelling to a new area. But don’t worry, we’re here to help!
Our team of qualified hiking guides, based in Chamonix, will put together the perfect self guided package for you. They know the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB), Haute Route and AV1 in great detail and will be on hand to answer any questions or book in any special requests for you.
For the Tour du Mont Blanc we can put together a custom package for individuals, couples or groups. You tell us how many days you would like to hike for and your preferred accommodation type. Then we will build the perfect TMB experience for you!
We plan the route according to your requests always with a focus on safety and quality. The planning is undertaken by a fully qualified and experienced international mountain leader. This ensures safe and professional planning of your route. In the planning phase of your tour we can consider all the requests and inputs from your side such as private accommodation, transfers, shorter or extended route.
We will make all reservations on your behalf, everything is prepaid and organized on your behalf. You just need to show up and hike!
Once the reservation process has been completed and you’ll receive your tailor-made self-guided package with our digital guidebook. It contains a comprehensive and detailed route description plus alternative route options. There is information about transfers, shortcuts, supplies and access to water so you can plan each day easily.
Our guides have also made sure the digital guidebook contains lots of interesting information on the culture, history and nature of the Tour du Mont Blanc and other hikes.
The guidebook will be available in a digital version, so that you can already study as soon as all the reservations are confirmed.
You will also receive other useful documents such as a packing list and all the details about your reservations.
To complement the guidebook you will receive digital navigation files. Using an user friendly app your phone will become your navigation device. This app lets you know the elevation gain, distance and direction for each day.
Don’t worry if technology is not your thing. We will also provide you with a paper map of your route.
Next to the planning and reservation of your tour, we take care about all the other logistics of your tour. No matter if it is an airport transfer, a taxi half-way through your hike or a train ticket for your post-hike travels, we can organize everything you need.
Before your tour we’ll meet and greet you in resort upon request. Here you can ask any pressing questions and sort out the last details before your hike. During the hike if you have any logistical problems you can also contact us on our emergency number.
